| Students create snowflakes for Newtown students |
Over 400 snowflakes were made by seventh and eighth grade students at SSC. These snowflakes will be used to decorate the new building that will be used for the Sandy Hook (Newtown, Connecticut) Elementary School students when they return to classes. |

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The news of yet another tragic school shooting has affected us all. We think of the lives lost and the people touched by this violence and grief. University of Minnesota Extension has educational resources available to guide families, schools and communities as they help youth recover from school violence.
