June 20, 2016
Board Chair Jerry Luinenburg called the Round Lake – Brewster ISD #2907 Regular School Board meeting to order on Monday, June 20th, 2016 at 6:02 pm. Roll call and a quorum were declared.
Members present: Ronda Sammons, Bob Bohn, Trevor Wintz, Jerry Luinenburg, Pam Wendland, and Derik Schmitz. Also present: Superintendent/Principal Ray Hassing. Absent: Diane Larson, Jay Peterson, Joe Leighty and Brian Bosma.
Motion by Wintz , Second by Wendland to approve agenda. All in Favor.
Motion by Wendland, Second by Schmitz to approve Regular School Board Minutes of May 23rd, 2016 with the clarification from the May meeting Motion by Bohn, Second by Sammons to approve 15/16 Revised Budget and the 16/17 Preliminary Budget. All in Favor.
Superintendent’s Report:
• Legislative Updates – Money available for Pre-k
• Report on ESP Negotiations
Motion by Wendland, Second by Bohn to approve Pay for Superintendent un-used vacation days for 2015/16 School year contract. All in Favor.
Motion by Wintz, Second by Luinenburg to approve increase to $2.55 for 2016/17 student lunch price. All in Favor
Motion by Bohn, Second by Wintz to approve Mike Bourquin Construction bid for 2nd floor lowering of ceilings in 3 classrooms at a cost of $5,750.00 for material and labor. All in Favor.
Motion by Bohn, Second by Wendland to approve Kitchen Standup Freezer purchase from Reinhart Food Service for $4,719.00 plus freight. All in Favor.
