Robert L. Winkler of Woodbury, Minnesota, died on June 14, 2016, at our Lady of Peace Hospice at age 80. He was born on May 6, 1936 in Heron Lake, MN to Maude and Frank Winkler.
He is survived by his wife, Kristin of 21 years; daughter, Kelley; grandchildren, Tanner, Arianna, and Hadley.
He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Francis, Paul, Raymond, and Roderick; and two sisters, Helen and Loretta. He will be sorely missed by many other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Robert’s life was held on Monday, June 20, at St. Odilia Catholic Church (3495 Victoria St. N., St. Paul). Interment was at St. Odilia Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Our Lady of Peace Home, Health and Hospice.
