On Friday, July 29, from 1:00-6:00 p.m., there will be free Carriage Rides at the front of the Senior Citizens Building at the Jackson County Fairgrounds. The rides for seniors are sponsored by Bridget’s Bucksnort Brew Ha Ha and Jackson Livestock. The horses and carriage will be provided by Jerry and Gwen Fleace of Round Lake, MN.
Gwen Fleace has gone to the Senior Dining sites in each Heron Lake, Jackson and Lakefield to invite Senior Citizens to the fair and promise them a free ride in the carriage. “I also told them that Bridget wants them to feel honored on their special day at the fair,” added Gwen.
